You can send a request for a letter of invitation to the library's secretariat: Secretariaat@library.leidenuniv.nl.

Make sure to add at least the following data: full name, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, starting and ending date of the intended period of research and exact subject of research. Our staff can then make a decision on whether or not you meet our qualifications to receive an official letter of invitation and arrange all necessary paperwork.
