Why do some links to online resources no longer work off-campus?
Answer
The university has recently switched to a new EZproxy server, providing more secure and stable off-campus access to online resources. Older links starting with https://login.ezproxy.leidenuniv.nl/... will no longer work. In the catalogue, all links have been updated (you’ll recognise them by leidenuniv.idm.oclc.org in the URL).
- To update old bookmarks: open the resource again via the catalogue, and save the new link.
- If you use the UBL Get Access browser tool for off-campus access, please reinstall it following these instructions.
