How much will my digitisation request from the Special Collections cost?
Answer
Standard non-commercial reproductions of loose material in Tiff format cost €27,50 (excl. VAT) per image. For bound materials, the first page is €27,50 (excl. VAT), and for every succeeding page €2,50. It is also possible to request items in PDF format. Loose material in PDF cost €11 (excl. VAT) per image. For bound material the first page is € 11,- (excl. VAT), and for every succeeding page € 1,-.
Per example:
- A Tiff of a map costs € 27,50 (1 x € 27,50).
- First ten pages of a manuscript in PDF costs € 20,- (€11 + (9 x €1)).
- First ten pages of a manuscript in Tiff costs € 50,- (€27,50 + (9 x €2,50))
Possible bank charges will be listed on the invoice. Sometimes extra costs will be charged, you’ll receive an email for permission first. Our standard service costs are also listed on the Digitisation request form.
