Can I order images of Special Collection items that are still in copyright?

Images cannot be provided for copyright-protected items unless we receive written permission from the rightful copyright holder(s).
Works of literature, science, and art are protected by copyright, which lasts for the author's life plus 70 years. Copyright holders are:
- The creator.
- Any other collaborating creator(s).
- Surviving relatives or entities to which the copyrights have transferred.
If you can find the copyright owners and secure their consent, kindly complete the Digitisation Request Form and send us their permission. This will enable us to fulfill your order.
